This project aimed to raise awareness and gain support for the Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill (CEE bill). To create a simple brand that is easily recognisable and recreatedEngage new audience that wouldn’t typically be interested in climate change campaigns. Change the government's views on climate change.
For this project, I completed a set of 5 posters each describing the effects that climate change has on us and the planet. The campaign covers three different deliverables poster collection, a leaflet and a social media post. The leaflet delivers a more in-depth description of what Zero Hour are doing and what we can do to limit our carbon footprint. For the social media poster, I used the same approach of having the information over the mouth but changed it to fit what Instagram users would want to see on their feeds. Each person has a different question which is specific to something that age and gender would typically query about with the answer underneath.
In order for this project to be successful I conducted lots of research into the effects of climate change. By understanding the effects the rise in climate has on individuals I was able to create a post in the aims to educate and grasps peoples attention. I useful articles that helped me to understand this can be viewed here.
This project allowed me to design for different and come up with a unique way to capture people's attention about an issue that affects everyone. Developing my design to work across multiple platforms.
